What I really wish I were doing….

Thinking of you, Narcissist. If only I could teleport, or had a jet car, we would totally be going out for margaritas tonight. Look on the bright side: at least it’s not “El Valle de Locura”.
In the past few weeks, I’ve been reading a lot. Maybe because 1) it’s cold outside, and 2) I loaned yurodivuie the PS2. But I’ve noticed that I tend to read books and nearly instantly forget what they say. So, I thought it would be helpful to write about them, while it’s fresh in my mind. Here goes (coming at you like a blitz):
Lukas had a post a while ago about a mixtape. As one of the first ten respondents, I received a copy of said mixtape. I have been listening to it for the past few weeks, and it is very shiny. It is also full of bands I had never heard of, but now I’m starting to like. A lot.
Getting a new mixtape seems like a good way to hear something new, all the while knowing that at least one other person likes it, so how bad can it be? This leads me to make an offer of my own: leave me a comment and I’ll send you a mixtape. I’m pretty sure that less than 10 people read this blog, so I’m not really concerned about setting a limit. Texans and Wisconsinites are encouraged to apply.
You can read the rules here. Basically, I send you a cool mixtape. Then you send me one. But if you don’t I won’t hate you forever. That’s all. Get to commenting!
I’m not dead, I’ll have you know. I just have a short attention span.
